My question about my PWP is about "sweats & vomiting". He has these symptoms once a month or so & this really knocks him out. I never know if it is an emergency ~~ since after being asleep & resting he wakes up weak but says he is fine. He is fearful of going to the hospital and I have NO home help. I worry about ANOTHER colon infection, since he had one in June & a month stay in hospital & then rehab. Suggestions from you more experienced caretakers would be WELCOME? My husband is much older (75 & 62)than me. I'm VERY well (so far!) & reaching out for information. Yep, he has also been "seeing" images & objects for a long time ~~ I have followed the recent discussions & become more educated!! Since he has been of a GENIUS (scientist) mentality ~~~ he's great at masking LOTS of things so I will continue to care for him alone!! THX & : )'s

I will say that sweats as well as chills are part of PD symptoms, as the "internal thermostat" does not work normally. Not aware of the vomiting---hope others can respond to that. Is he on any anti-psychotic meds for the hallucinations? I would say not to hesitate to ask his neuro about anything that concerns either of you--that's why you're paying him/her, after all. Also be aware that you NEED to take care of the CG--namely YOU--or you can't take good care of the PWP !
